HIST1302 Map Exercises

Before starting, read these Map Exercise Tips.

Because geography is almost always a critical factor in human events, I require my HIST1302 students to complete five map exercises for the purpose of improving their knowledge of both history and geography. These exercises require students to examine maps that complement the material they are being taught in class and to answer questions about them. On this page students will find links to the both the maps that make up that portion of the course as well required "take-at-home" map exercises.

NOTE: In order to read/download/print the assignments, which are provided here as PDFs, you must have the free Adobe Acrobat PDF reader installed on your computer. If you do not have the reader pre-installed or need an update, you can get it for free from Adobe Reader for Windows or Adobe Reader for Mac.
